South West London Pathology - St. Helier (Londen)

We continue to make solid progress at St Helier, part of South West London Pathology, working closely with the engineers from Beckman Coulter Diagnostics Europe to install the DxA track while keeping the laboratory fully operational.

The analysers have been moved one by one to their near-final positions, briefly re-verified, and then returned to service by the laboratory team. In parallel, the different sections of the DxA track have been delivered in stages and carefully brought into the lab. Each section could immediately be positioned correctly, allowing the installation work to begin straight away.

At the same time, the permanent infrastructure is being put in place. Final power supplies (including UPS systems), data connections, and RO water lines are being installed so that everything will be ready once the track can be connected and further configuration and installation can continue. After that, the analysers will be connected and the system communication configured.

It’s quite a puzzle to manage all this with temporary arrangements while keeping the lab running, but it’s all part of preparing the way for a great new laboratory setup.

More progress to follow as we continue building!
