Start of construction at St. Antonius in Nieuwegein

A milestone has been reached at St. Antonius Hospital in Nieuwegein: construction work began this week on the implementation of the Roche Total Lab Automation system.

Following an intensive period of preparation, the project is now physically visible in the lab. Last week, a number of workstations were already moved to temporary or new locations within the lab to make space for the next phase. Structural alterations have now begun, including the removal of a wall and window frame and the installation of fixtures for equipment to be housed in this area.

Although this initial work is still relatively limited in scope, it marks an important step towards the realisation of a new Total Lab Automation system!

Lab-Partners BV is handling the project management on behalf of St. Antonius Hospital and is looking forward to the next phases of this project.
