Update St. Helier and Epsom in London

On December 8, another significant milestone was reached within the South West London Pathology program: both Epsom and St. Helier of Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust went fully stand-alone live for all disciplines at both sites.

With this step, the laboratories have been successfully transferred to new Beckman Coulter Diagnostics setups, including the transition from haematology to DxH systems, and the link with Telepath (Dedalus) has been realised. This marks an important phase in the further standardisation and modernisation of the SWLP network.

The focus for the coming period will remain on stabilisation and optimisation. For St Helier, a further expansion is planned in the first quarter with the implementation of a DxA 5000, which will continue the program.

This is a result to be proud of and a great joint achievement by all the teams involved. We look forward to the next steps in this program.
